›Meaning
This aarti praises Ganesha as the son of Parvati and Shiva, describing his single tusk, four arms, vermilion-marked forehead and mouse vehicle. Devotees offer him betel leaf, flowers and sweets, and the aarti describes his boundless generosity — giving sight to the blind, wholeness to the afflicted, children to the childless, and prosperity to the poor — before asking him to protect the humble and fulfill their wishes.
